FDM4 International Inc. offers FDM4 eCommerce as a complete standalone solution capable of displaying real-time inventory availability, processing credit cards online, as well as calculating tax and freight. FDM4 International Inc. will also integrate the FDM4 eCommerce solution to any ERP solution and/or Warehouse System.
We have also developed a web enabled FDM4 Customer Service system which allows viewing inventory balances, as well as allows customer service representatives access to customer information such as shipping address, E-mail address, previous orders, invoices, and statements. This information enables the customer service representatives to complete an order for a customer who may be having difficulty. The system also provides customer service with the ability to tag along and mirror the customer's session, allowing your customer service the capability to view exactly what the customer has on their screen. With the FDM4 Customer Service system customer service can also cancel orders, create large gift certificates and coupons for corporate customers, change passwords, and research orders in a variety of ways.
The information viewed on the FDM4 eCommerce system is generated from the eCommerce database. A user on a PC keys new information in and the HTML needed to view this new information on the web is created automatically. When the eCommerce database is integrated to an existing ERP, all new information entered into the existing ERP will automatically create the HTML need for the web. In addition to data the FDM4 eCommerce system also allows a user to add or delete images on the main page. This allows your company to change the items you want to feature at any given time without performing any programming changes to give you full control over your marketing strategy as seen below.
Images in the banner may be added or deleted or re-arranged by simply changing a "Flag" in the database and the Progress WebSpeed allows this to occur seamlessly. Product Categories may also be added or deleted through simple changes to the database by marketing person without any programming changes.
Cross sale images are added or deleted by Marketing Personnel in the FDM4 eCommerce database. The changes are seen instantly on the eCommerce site because of the power of the Progress WebSpeed tool.
The Color and or the size drop down selection will only be displayed if this color has on hand availability. Additional searching capabilities include the ability to search on descriptive words such as "warm". The system will display all products with the word "warn" within the specification paragraph. The powerful searching engine allows for selection of specific criteria including price range and color with the results displaying quantity available by style and color
FDM4 eCommerce allows each product to have related products. These related products will appear on the website every time a customer requests to view that particular product. This allows your company the ability to effectively manage cross sales, since your company sets these relationships in the database.
All information pertaining to size, color is generated dynamically from the database and is specific to that style. The FDM4 eCommerce also gives you the control to set a flag, to have an item not show up on the website if the style or color is no longer available.
FDM4 eCommerce offers a wish list generation that allows the customers to create a list of items that can be stored for future reference or E-mailed as a gift suggestion to the E-mail address the customer chooses.
FDM4 eCommerce has the option to group a selection of products under a similar theme. The screen to the right displays a group of products that was selected under the theme "Boston Marathon". This is one theme under the sport category "Running" another theme offered to customers under this product category is "Running Essentials". The system allows for multiple product themes under each category.
Customers have the ability to purchase a gift certificate to be E-mailed or sent by post mail. The FDM4 eCommerce system records the amount of the certificate and debits the account when the customer uses the gift certificate for a purchase. The customer may also use the gift certificate with a credit card to complete a purchase with a value greater than the gift certificate.
A detailed search can be based on one category or on multiple categories. This detailed search can also include a keyword search. An example of a keyword search would be the word "warm". All items with the word "warm" in the product name or description would be displayed to the right of the search frame.
